Sponsorship Insights and Operations Manager at Kindred Group, a multinational gambling company with three brands currently present in the sponsorship field (Unibet, 32Red and Vlad Cazino). My role is in a central department at Kindred within the Global Marketing Services team, based in Wimbledon. Main responsibilities are to support local markets with tracking and evaluating existing deals and new proposals with a data-driven approach, while also enhancing group-wide admin and internal awareness of our portfolio for digital activation purposes. Prior to joining Kindred in Jan 2020, my background was at agencies in commercial sports data and research, with analytical roles at YouGov Sport (tennis/Rolex accounts) and GlobalData (formerly Sportcal).

Johanna Kozul

Sponsorship Director, Veikkaus Oy

JOHANNA KOZUL is sponsorship director at Veikkaus Oy. Kozul has long experience in sponsoring cooperation with Finnish sports organizations and she has been developing the field in Finland e.g. by being a member of the board of the Sponsorship and Events Association. Johanna encourages sports organizations to boldly build content into their sponsorship concepts that is relevant to the audience and speaks to people on an emotional level.

Veikkaus Oy is the Gambling monopoly in Finland.

Finland has a state-controlled monopoly on both online and offline gambling.

MARIA GUGGENBERGER is CSR and sustainability manager at ATG with long and broad experience in driving change and development work, the last ten years with a focus on CSR and sustainability. Driven by making individuals and businesses grow through internal power gathering and external communication that strengthens both business and brand.

ATG is the horse racing gaming company, founded in 1974 for trotting and responsible gambling.

Risto is a passionate voice for sponsorship and events and he was Chairman of the Board of the Finnish Sponsorship & Events Association ( for many years. He is a Board director at ESA. He is CEO and partner in sponsorship agency Red Carpet Brand Alliances Oy (, working with both Brands and Right Holders in the Sports, Events, Culture and Movie sectors.

Risto works to reinforce the role of sponsorship in an ever-changing media landscape. He is also passionate about strengthening cooperation between European countries within the sponsorship industry.
